Bracken Cottage is a semi-detached dwelling located within The Common, Tunbridge Wells.  The proposals include a 2-storey side extension located on the north side of the dwelling, occupying a dark, disused patio area.

 

The extension will provide space for a new kitchen, dining and living area and above, a dramatic vaulted room provides a relaxing setting for a home Yoga studio. The extended volume is clad in charred japanese cypress, and provides a striking contrast to the existing white brickwork of the original dwelling.
